Empowered Conversations Over High Tea – Women’s
Circle, IIA Hyderabad Celebrates International
Women’s Day 2025
On March 8, 2025, the Women’s Circle of IIA Hyderabad Chapter hosted an inspiring and interactive high-
tea event in celebration of International Women’s Day. This year’s theme, ‘Empowered Women, Empower
the World’, set the stage for an engaging discussion featuring accomplished professionals from diverse
industries.
While the event was hosted on Women’s Day, we shattered stereotypes by welcoming a diverse audience,
including men who joined in support of gender inclusivity and empowerment. Their presence added
valuable perspectives to the discussions, reinforcing the idea that progress is a collective effort.
The event focused on two key topics: Building Executive Presence and Career at GCC, and Bouquet of
Careers, sparking meaningful insights and conversations. Attendees explored strategies to develop leadership
presence, strengthen their professional brand, and navigate the dynamic landscape of Global Capability
Centers (GCCs). The Bouquet of Careers session broadened horizons by showcasing unconventional and
emerging career opportunities, empowering participants to embrace new possibilities with confidence.
The vibrant and interactive format allowed for rich networking, shared experiences, and invaluable
takeaways. Leaders, mentors, and aspiring professionals engaged in thought-provoking discussions,
fostering a spirit of collaboration and growth. The high-tea setting added an elegant touch, creating a warm
and engaging environment for deep conversations.
To conclude on a rejuvenating note, we wrapped up with an engaging wellness session that focused on
stress management and posture correction—especially relevant in today’s fast-paced work culture and
prolonged sitting habits. The session provided practical insights on maintaining overall well-being while
excelling in professional spaces.
As we commemorate this Day, this event stood as a testament to the strength, ambition, and collective
progress of both men and women in the corporate world. Here’s to breaking barriers, supporting one
another, and celebrating the power irrespective of the gender — today and every day!
