Annual Conference 2025 of IIA Calcutta Chapter

The IIA India Calcutta Chapter successfully organized its 32nd Annual Conference on February 7, 2025,
at The Tollygunge Club, Calcutta. The event brought together industry leaders, audit professionals, and
experts to explore the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in internal auditing.

With the theme “AI and Internal Audit: Boon or Bane,” the conference fostered engaging discussions,
providing practical insights and strategies to navigate the evolving audit landscape in the AI era.

The event was held under the leadership of Mr. Kallol Mitra, President, IIA India Calcutta Chapter, and
Mr. Arijit Roy, Convenor, Conference Committee.

Mr. Sandeep Kumar Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director of GAIL, graced the occasion as Chief Guest,
while Mr. Burzin Dubash, President, IIA India, was the Guest of Honour.

The conference featured distinguished speakers, including:

To mark the occasion, a special event souvenir was published under the editorship of CA Suman Chaudhury.

The conference was a resounding success, reinforcing the importance of AI-driven innovations in internal
auditing and equipping professionals with insights to navigate future challenges.The event was attended by
around 150 participants as well as got significant publicity in print and digital media.
