evaluation of opportunities, assessment of changes to operations and reporting, compliance with regulations,
and enhancement of audit quality. This improved visibility of the Internal Control function serves as a catalyst
for innovation and improvement for sustainability.

This event for recognizing the critical importance of internal control and internal auditing within our
organization and continues to elevate the impact of internal control and auditing, embrace the changes
ahead, and drive quality in the audit profession to reinforce the Internal Control Department, ensuring our
organization remains a beacon of integrity and excellence.

Sharing detailed activities of 2024 year’s celebration:

it began with Kick-Off Meeting with all the Japanese Expats, HOD, Employees held on 2nd & 3rd.May, 2024
with a “Message from the Desk of MD & VP” Focusing on Mikuni’s brand message “Create Preserve Open”
during this month IC department has requested to all the HODs to nominate minimum 2-3 employee’s
names as “Voluntary Internal Auditor” from their department for this event to IC Department, preferably
nominates those who had already participated in last year to make this event successful & vibrant.

Accordingly, all 20 volunteers were nominated by HODs & a committee has been constituted with all Voluntary
Internal Auditors for making this campaign more impactful, they have done brain storming session together
& Set the Objectives of International Internal Audit Awareness Month, Communication & Awareness thru
mails, displayed Posters, Flex, LEDs at various locations (i.e. Security Gates, IC Department, Office, Canteen),
created a WhatsApp group of Voluntary Internal Auditors for smooth & effective communication and
knowledge sharing, Distributed Badges to all the Japanese Expats, HODs, IC, Voluntary Internal Auditors &
Auditees, Organized Awareness Sessions, Training Programs on the Importance of Internal Audit & Internal
Control, Five Golden Words of IC, Audit Steps, Code of Ethics, Standards, Skills & Competencies required
in an auditors by internal as well as eminent, experience & learned external faculties imparted at MID and
Department’s Policies/SOPs were reviewed along with Department’s Voluntary Internal Auditors, Organized
Competitions like QUIZ (On the Spot), Best Slogan /Best suggestion/Idea to speed up audit, voluntary
internal Auditors have undergone trainings and awareness sessions refresher course with written notes
provided by the Team IC based on which ONLINE Exam of the Voluntary Internal Auditors were carried-
out, training evaluation where they have achieved more than 60% score, later on they have done Self-Check/
Self-Audit within the department. Mikuni has Recognized Participants, HODs, employees & Team IC by
giving them Printed Stationery, Pen Stands with Mikuni & IIA logo to promote Internal Audit profession,
after which they all took an Oath/Pledge & finally Get-together of Voluntary internal Auditors, IC & VP
cum Executive Director-Japanese Expat held on 28th June,2024 and HODs get together on 16th Sept,2024.
After successful completion Certificates, Awards distributed to the Voluntary Internal Auditors successfully
passed Online Exam held on 27th June,2024 and HODs who has continuously supported and cooperated in
strengthening Internal Control function in the organization. It’s a continuous journey to Spread the value
of Internal Control & Internal Auditing & to promote Internal Audit Profession, we are attaching herewith
previous year’s report, pics etc for the same.

Indeed, it was nice experience, everyone has participated and contributed & made this event impactful
in developing the presence of Internal Auditor/Internal Controller and transforming the perception
“watchguard” to being involved as “Strategic Partner”.
