CEO Shri Mukundan K.V. Addresses SBI Internal
Audit Leadership on Digital Process Audit

In a significant development, Shri Mukundan K.V., CEO, had the honor of engaging with the leadership
team of the Internal Audit Department of the State Bank of India (SBI). The meeting was held under
the esteemed leadership of Shri Kishore Kumar Poludasu, Deputy Managing Director, and attended by
senior leaders, including Shri Shamlal Garg, Chief General Manager, Shri Venkata Ramana Bayireddy,
Chief General Manager, Shri Parthasarathi Patra, Chief General Manager, and Shri Naveen Kumar,
Chief General Manager. Several General Managers and Deputy General Managers were also present
during the session.

The discussions focused on key aspects of digital process auditing, highlighting the transformative
potential of technology in strengthening governance and ensuring robust internal controls. A special
acknowledgment was extended to Ms. Madhuri Krishnaswamy, President of the IIA India Hyderabad
Chapter, for her valuable contributions to the dialogue.

The meeting also underscored the visionary initiatives aimed at capacity building for the Internal Audit
team, which operates across 16 circles in India. These efforts, which aim to enhance the efficiency and
effectiveness of the audit function, were lauded as pivotal in bolstering SBI’s governance framework.

Reaffirming its commitment, the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) emphasized its support for such
initiatives that align with its core objectives as a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the
auditing profession.
