leadership. With the presence of over 200 enthusiastic participants, the event — under the leadership of
Chapter President Ms. Madhuri Krishnaswamy, along with Mr. George Kalliath (Vice-President) and Mr.
Bikram Jena (Secretary) — stood out for its meticulous organization, seamless execution, and intellectually

change. His address set a forward-looking tone for the day’s proceedings.

A key highlight of the event was the address by Mr. Mukundan K V, CEO of The Institute of Internal Auditors
India, who offered a comprehensive overview of the Institute’s service offerings. His presentation focused
on the strategic importance of benchmarking initiatives in evaluating the implementation and maturity of
the Global Internal Audit Standards, reinforcing IIA India’s commitment to advancing audit quality and
          capability.

The keynote address delivered by Mr. M. P. Vijayakumar, Guest of Honour and a widely respected thought

pressing issue of trust deficit in the corporate world, and the growing necessity for emotional intelligence
and mental resilience among auditors were both timely and thought-provoking. He also underscored the
critical responsibilities of Boards and Audit Committees in upholding governance and audit integrity.
